Happy Tuesday!

Today I am praying for my friend who will be undergoing a mastectomy.  Breast Cancer is curable if found early, I encourage each of you to get your mamograms every year and do monthly self exams.

I was given 2 Queen Ann armchairs and have been researching all of these amazing blogs and I have found some wonderful tutorials.  Thank you for posting these, now to find some fabric....what do you think? I would love your ideas... The colors in my living room are lime green, turquoise and brown.

Happy Sunday!

I know my last post is about the weather and I am going to start with that today...The wind is gone and the rain has moved in.  Very typical fall weather in MI, I just want to get my pumpkins and decorate the outside of my house.  For now, I will post some pics of projects I did over the summer when  I had time and it was sunny :)

                               This little beauty was a goodwill find, left over fabric from Chairs....

                             This great little bench at "GA GA" a local resale store in Southwest MI                                     I painted it white and distressed a bit after I swept the cobwebs!

This awesome mirror was posted on Facebook from a resale shop in town and I rushed down to get it!!

                     Transformations are sometimes a wonderful experience..thankfully this one was!!

and wooo went the wind!!

wow...what a windy day today along the Lake MI shoreline!!  My hubby and I went and grabbed a nice cup of coffee (chai tea for me) and headed to the beach.  We took a walk down the pier (only part way, we did not want to get wet) and watch the waves roll down the channel wall!!  CRAZY WIND!!!! I hope you enjoy the pictures...it is all about living on Lake MI!
